The Power Projects Division was started in 1997 to harness the internal
strength of experienced intellectual assets and wide ranging product
portfolio of BGR Energy, to address the emerging Power Project market in the
country.
Commencing with the execution of EPC contract of Balance of Plant (BOP) for 95
MW CCPP in 1999 and subsequently having executed EPC contract of the
entire plant of 120 MW CCPP in 2004, BGR Energy has achieved leadership
position as a Prominent Turnkey contractor executing EPC contract of
Balance of Plant (BOP) for 500 MW Unit sizes in India.
In our constant endeavour to bring value to our customers, BGR Energy has
strategic alliances with global OEM's for executing large scale power projects on turnkey EPC basis, using latest technologies.
With proven experience of executing large
turnkey contracts of balance of plants in
the 500 MW's capacity, BGR Energy has strategic

Traditionally the Project procurement practice followed by various utilities in India has been the multiple package route. This no doubt has the advantages of least cost of purchase & total control over individual equipment specification but suffers from serious drawbacks like.
